HOW TO PLAY

MOUSE moves your plank. There is no button to swing — the ball comes off wherever it meets the wood. CLICK or SPACE tosses your serve.

AIMING

Meet the ball low on the plank to scoop a deep lob at the back row.
Meet it high to drive flat and short at the front cups.
Meet it left or right of centre to send it that way.
Flick the plank as you connect for extra pace.
You can never spike: the ball always leaves the wood climbing.

THE CUPS

Land it in a cup and the whole cup is gone.
Clip a cup and it pops loose — if they don't hit it back before it bounces, that cup loses half. Two halves and it's gone.
Swat a clipped ball out of the air to save the cup entirely.

LOSING A POINT

They sink or crack one of your cups.
You let it bounce twice on your side.
You hit it out, into the net, or short onto your own half.
Lose the point and you serve. Lose every cup and you lose the table.
